Arathi is definetly the best place to go for iron ore. Obtained about 98 Iron, 14 Gold, 6 Silver, and 25 Tin, in about 2 hours. Dont forget to look in Bolderfist Hall, Bolderfist Outpost and the Drywhisker Gorge for extras along the way. And the Lake at Whiterbark Village normally has a few. Happy huntings :D

Confirmed, Khorium can replace all outland nodes (Fel Iron, Adamantite, Rich Adamantite) and has a ridiculous chance of finding them. Both Adamantite Ore and Fel Iron ore give skill points all the way up to 375. Nagrand; Netherstorm; Shadowmoon Valley; There are four caves marked with red circles on the map. You should go inside them and make sure that you go all the way to the end because sometimes you won't see the Mining nodes from the entrance.

Where to farm Fel Iron Ore in TBC. In order to get Fel Iron, you will need to mine Fel Iron Deposits which require a Mining skill of 300+. While some Fel Iron spawns in every zone, the best zones to farm Fel Iron by far are: Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh and Shadowmoon Valley.

Zangarmarsh is by far the best place to get Fel Iron Ore (And quite a bit of Adamantite). It's VERY abundant there and it's incredibly fast. Basically all I do is I ride the entire edge of Zangarmarsh, all the way around, with my mount. In one trip I make on average 30 Fel Iron Ore, and about a halfstack of Adamantite.
